Necrorealist Sunscreen is a preliminary sketch of Scott’s work for the 2026 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art. Responding to the theme of 'AI slop', Necrorealist Sunscreen speaks to both the physical and virtual languages of our time and the processes of circulation and accumulation that define this. This new work consists of many interconnected objects and sculptural components working together. The core of the installation is made from office chairs and slimline water tanks, where Scott melts and modifies familiar consumables in a way that highlights the transference of experience and ideas between objects and the body.
